NOTES:
"Sounds good. Which one?" - My dad, anytime anyone asked if he wanted to take a walk or ride in the country (Indiana, 1992-01).
I've owned this pipe for roughly three years now, and roughly is a great way to express how I've treated the thing. Every joint is loose and the rim is charred on account of using torch lighters to kill-off cigar nubs in its depthy-depths. I have dropped and tossed it. I once sat on it (twice). Still, it draws like a dream and the hardwood plug is indestructible (and held in place via prayer and pipe mud).
When employed for actual pipe tobacco, more is held than in any other pipe I own and it's never not feathery light in the clench. Its versatility enables it to be a great writing pipe as well as a lunter. In full disclosure, it was purchased along with its straight-bit counterpart which was less comfy and pooped out much quicker. Odd, I usually prefer straight-bits. Nevertheless, this bent version is a large part of my rotation.
As with or much like Lane Limited 1-Q, I'll quote myself: "A timely case or plea for stoicism: stop your exploring at this point and be forever happily in love with this blend [pipe]."
