Illusione Cigars Singulare Kadosh (2016) | Cigar Review Redux by Kaplowitz

"Have you Kaplowitz'd to-day?"

WRAPPER: Nicaraguan Corojo
BINDER: Nicaraguan
FILLER: Nicaraguan

FORMAT: "Kadosh" Petite Robusto (4.25x48)
ORIGIN: TABSA, Nicaragua
STRENGTH: Medium

NOTES: Honey? Yes, dear? Graham. White pepper-spiced cedar. Salted car-a-mel(in 2/2). <--- that's yer up-top. Under that is a sweet/nutty malt, some citrus, apricot, sour cream cookies. Further down? Creme brulee. Dirt, sunlit.

A stoically built and performing thing. Delivered in that manner, as well & come to think of it. Draws smoothly/coolly. Burns on an even line at moderate pacing. Quite a smoky stick but one with an almost curious lack of room-note. That said, there is some pastry in the air. The ash could seemingly be built to four-inches if that's yer fetish.

FINAL GRADE: B+
A 90-100 B 80-89 C 70-79 D 60-69 F 0-59

I previously reviewed this blend in its Toro (Phantoms) iteration ((( link )))

"A blend of Nicaraguan Criollo '98 and Corojo '99, and finished with focus on lower priming tobaccos specific to one farm. The cigar is finished with an AAA Grade Corojo Cafe Rosado."
