Now cometh the La Volcada, hath announced La Flor Dominicana. It is to arrive at the up-coming IPCPR trade-show. Its inspiration?
The Tango, or "Dance of Love," is an export via Uruguay, much like LFD owner Litto Gomez, hisself. Thus, the La Volcada gets moniker'd via one of the Tango's most noted steps, and the cigar's creative impetus. Whilst performing the volcada, the leader leans the his partner forward (the name comes from the Spanish "volcar," meaning to "tip over,") causing her to swing her leg 'round in a long and supposedly quite alluring arc. I'll perform a video demonstration of the maneuver whenst I get my hands on an offering.
La Volcada comes in a single format: a classically dimension'd 748 Churchill laying an Ecuadorin Corojo binder twixt filler all grown on Gomez's farm in the Dominican, with a coil-capped San Andres top-leaf over-top.
