Drew Estate to Debut Undercrown Sun Grown at IPCPR - Cigar News

The micro-batch free-range gluten-free vegan fair/free-trade locally-sourced boutique mom&pop genderless halal Drew Estate hath to-day announced the latest extension of its Undercrown Brand, the Sun Grown. This iteration follows 2011's Maduro and 2015's Shade IPCPR trade-show unveilings at this year's up-coming shin-dig. Look for Booth #2608, as if you won't hear its racket from out-side... of Reno.
The Sun Grown expression features a binder of Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut/Cured Sun Grown Habano twixt Nicaraguan fillers and Ecuadorian Sumatra seed Sun Grown top-leaf.

The Undercrown Sun Grown formats shall include: Corona, Robusto, Gran Toro, Belicoso, Gordito, Corona Doble, and Flying Pig (which my Chabad Rabbi assures me is Kosher).

Founder of Drew Estate, Jonathan Drew: “Returning to Drew Estate as the Fourth President is immensely inspiring and satisfying. The collaborative consortium of creative talent at every level is our core competency. Challenging Willy Herrera and the Undercrown Blending Team to create the new expression after finally securing Sun Grown Tobacco is extremely exciting, as we have tried to secure this Sumatra Ecuador tobacco for over 15 years. The new Sun Grown continues the legacy of “Blended on the Factory Floor.”'

Master Blender of Drew Estate, one Willy Herrera:  “The people of EstelĂ, Nicaragua opened their hearts to me and my family ever since I joined Drew Estate. Creating cigars from the ground up with the Undercrown Blending Team challenges my comfort zone and pushes the company to more impactful blends.”
