Rock-A-Feller Cigars Vintage Nicaraguan Connecticut - Cigar Review by Kaplowitz

"Have you Kaplowitz'd to-day?"

Rock-A-Feller Vintage Nicaraguan Connecticut
WRAPPER: Ecuadorian Connecticut
BINDER: Indonesian
FILLER: Nicaraguan

FORMAT: Robusto (552)
ORIGIN: American Caribbean Cigars, Nicaragua
STRENGTH: Medium

NOTES: A table sugar sweetness permeates the profile, tho not cloyingly-so. Cardamom, white ginger. Avoids the green note pitfall of many a Connie. Delicate white pepper. Buttery/creamy. Floral & orange blossom notes. Lightly toasted grains and sunny earth underbelly. Increasingly simply pleasurable.

Excellent smoke out-put off each end and both passively & actively. Burns on an even line. Top-leaf feels a bit loosely appointed but that don't hinder performance. Included in said performance is a smooth and even tension'd (medium) draw, gate-to-wire. Too, ash builds particularly thick & oily.

FINAL GRADE: A-
A 90-100 B 80-89 C 70-79 D 60-69 F 0-59

La Flor Dominicana Cigars (LFD) Ships Football Special Edition 2019 | Cigar News by Kaplowitz

"Have you Kaplowitz'd to-day?

LFD FOOTBALL SE 2019

Do you find the comedic stylings of Steve Harvey to be a bit too subtle for your liking? Do you like bright colors, loud sounds, traumatic brain injuries, and a surprising amount of lulls in action? Do you like scratching your chronic tribalism itch? You must be a football fan. As a football fan, you must know the Super Bowl is coming your way in under a month's time.

La Flor Dominicana has your Big Game cigar needs COVERED, and for the Vth year running. That's right! LFD has shipped to market its yearly Football Special Edition 2019. The perfect accompaniment to watching 10 different angles of each play in replay slo' then slower mo'. "Was that a catch?" "Was that a throw?" Titillating.

[Oh and the Illuminati uses the Halftime Show to either hypnotize or indoctrinate you. Not sure. I'm usually repeatedly slamming my head in the front door by then. "Did he have possession?"]

Ah, but the cigar. It's a great state of Georgia exclusive -- as the SB is in ATL this yr. Sold in a single format of Toro Gordo (6.5x58) the thing features an Ecuadorian Habano skin w/ Connecticut football-themed accents over Dominican innards. No word on production numbers.
