Lampert Cigars 1675 Edicion ROJO in (Redux) Review

BRAND: Lampert
BLEND: 1675 Edicion ROJO

WRAPPER: Ecuadorian Connecticut
BINDER: Nicaraguan
FILLER: Nicaraguan

FORMAT: Robusto
ORIGIN: Nicaragua
INTENSITY: Medium

I previously reviewed this blend (which is now smoking superbly) and you can find that at: Lampert Cigars 1675 Edicion ROJO in Review. I have smoked one or two since and enjoyed the experience markedly more than prior, so I figured that was grounds for a redux.

NOTES:
Buttery suede | Honey malt | Sandalwood

Knocks on the door in an overall-familiar way to my first written look-see but once inside shows a larger maltiness at play with each note.

Again, warm and fuzzy but now with notes of sandalwood and honey. Less chocolate and graphite. Peach fuzz gives way to stone fruit. Still Jovial.

Previous-primaries of buttery suede and (less)chocolate-hazelnut(more) spread remain but fall back some to allow an appreciation of the newly-nuanced middlings. A hint of nagging cardboard.
