FORMAT: Robusto
ORIGIN: Dominican Republic
INTENSITY: Mild/Mild-Medium
NOTES:
Citrus | White pepper | Sweet hay
This started well enough, exhibiting the creamy slight sweetness* one might expect from its ingredients. Then the white pepper/citrus aspect began to toast, warm, then heat up to oddly-aggressively wobble the balance. [*golden hay, salted caramel, white chocolate.]
Worse yet, that early 2/3rd occurrence precipitated a tightening of draw and wonk of burn. Many retouches and some over-heating trouble-shooting later, I was thanked by rather empty pulls come the mid-point which did no good toward cooling-off the heating-up. Tunneling.
