If you're caught up on tinkering your way into what I call a Rat Cob, this would be the first step on that slippery slope. This thing is worthy of finagling in a hardwood plug. It's light-weight in the clench and its bowl stays cool as a cuke in the hand. It's really become my go-to smoker while writing.
Plus, it doesn't seem aesthetically off-putting to stuff with an English blend. Draws easy-smoothly and fits a tamper well. It's a budget-friendly thing that smokes on par with pipes costing several times more. Failing the want/wont to insert a plug, I'd recommend pipe mud and prayer, but again, see: budget-friendly.
A fantastic no--perfect--beginner's pipe, as well.
