Indeed I surely did not take the time to write this entire post to tell the terrible joke of: Cuban Reject? Do you mean Ozzie Canseco? See, but if I did, it wouldn't even be timely let alone seemly to drag Jose's less talented twin into this mess. Well, 'mess' is harsh and also inaccurate.

Mainly, I wrote this to share a look (two) at occasional 'everyday' or 'budget' offering(s), as I do now and then. These particularly are perfectly serviceable sticks to enjoy when not in situations that allow or call for deep and contemplative moments of dissecting notes, complexities, transitions, and whatnot. They'll put a sweet 'baccy taste in your mouth and won't distract you with any combustion or construction woes.

I will say this, I wish their name didn't reflect the fact that my checkbook has seen better days. Slap 'Casa de Something' or 'Don Someone' on these babies and I think maybe we'd all feel a bit better about our lot. Other than that, I've no complaints. So if you're looking for a yard 'gar, or something for the (public) golf course, from the sampling I privy'd myself to here--you can't go too wrong.

... & who am I to throw shade on Ozzie? I once went an entire Little League season with no hits. Turns out I needed glasses, and to stop dropping my right elbow. I got glasses.
