NOTES:
Both a bit brash and a bit flat. Like a power-lifter with a backache. That's mainly overcome prior to the end of the opening act. The brashness, I mean. Still a pleasant smoke with a proper pepper kick but lacking in wow.

White & black pepper drive the overtones of oak and shortbread cookies. Some cashew bits. Pecan. Don't the Keebler Elves do a thing a la that? Buttery & tingly mouth-feel. Red pepper through the retro-hale. Undertones of coffee, cinnamon, & a salted caramel note. Mellow but also a bit sharp. Some citrus pith hits the finish which is mainly a wood earthiness. Bright. Underbelly is that finish.

I feel as though my opening thoughts are harsh. It's a perfectly fine smoker but is lacking what the French would call "A certain subway fare." Performs well, w/ dings of a slightly curved burn & a bit restricted draw. Ash holds well, cap assemblage stays true as do seams. No hard/soft spots.
