LA Eliminates AZ: An NLDS Game 3 Retrospective

The Los Angeles Dodgers completed their sweep of the Arizona Diamondbacks by a score of 3-1. Thusly dem bums are NLCS-bound and once again looking like the best team in baseball, as their record suggests.
Chris Taylor tallied their initial run by doubling in the opening-stanza, taking third via sac-fly, then crossing home on a ground-out. Cody Bellinger and Austin Barnes went yard in the fifth and sixth frames, respectively. Bellinger flashed some nice leather, too. Meanwhile the rest of the LA line-up failed to take advantage of Zack Greinke’s five walks and ultimately went 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position. Daniel Descalso supplied the only run for 'Zona, 'twas a' the homer varietal.

Pitcher Yu Darvish showed sharply over five-innings of work: surrendering two hits and striking-out seven on just 76 pitches. The Dodgers bullpen was of particular note, and of particular note therein was Kenley Jansen, whom blow'd-away Paul Goldschmidt for the last out in a spaghetti western show-down manner.
