Warm acidic notes, them's nicely rounded and well-delivered. Roasted/sauteed saltiness. Bitter, well; with a neat-o balance of sweetness backed by sour bits. Zilch bite. Smoothly handled hefty weight throughout. Verily robust and balanced throughout.Le Bijou 1922

SUMMATION
Pepper, black with red under-belly. Fruit, prunes and raisins. Leather, stiff and oils. Earth, top-soil and barnyard. Espresso. Chocolate, 90%+ cacao. Cream, toasted. Salt, roasted. Woods, cedar and oak/wine cask. Bread, pumpernickel. Meat, beef jerky. Seasonings, fennel, rosemary, anise. Citrus, warm orange zest zetz --- marmalade. Rootbeer. Maple syrup. Nuts, candied almond. Earth, compost.
Combustion starts roughly, with a slight runner at under an inch in, substantial retouch corrects. Ash cracks soon thereafter. In short order, all quiets and stays thatta-way. Pace is quite nice from there on, with a pale grey and hearty burnt offering. Smoke remains cool. Nice show of construction, as the corners round far less than other offerings and smoke was delivered on an even-keeled medium+ tension. Seams held, only to loosen slightly at the 3/3 char-line. Above average smoke out-put yielding a sweet leathery earthen note with some dark fruits and spice. Nigh supremely balanced.
