NOTES:
Richly rounded & malty all the live-long. Sharply clear liquor w/ a lively reddishness underneath an amber surface. Leaves of a bigly stature & coppery highlights. Noses densely-so of buckwheat honey atop ripe red/purple fruits.

Malt attaches to honey on the sip. Also to a new cocoa vibe on the lip-smackingly savory finish. Savoriness is a fungal thing. Fruit stays on the slurp and pulls much earthiness w/ it. Earth is a barnyard experience. Leather builds slowly there. Warms the body nicely, calmly.

Soft & rather thick in the tea-hole. Just a half-tick drying on the middle of the tongue (more astringency happens on subsequent steeping). Cozy! That's the word I've been looking for. Complexity by way of malty attachments. Nicely nuanced. A legit cuppa, & then some. Sturdy. Dependable. Unadorned.
