The Fingerpoke of Doom (FPOD). NWO Hulk Hogan. Remember, The FASA Sol is Hulkamania Hogan. FPOD, long story short, Hollywood (NWO) Hogan pokes* then Champ Kevin Nash. Nash takes a bump and the pin. Hogan wins the belt. What a swerve. The NWO is together again under one banner, BROTHER. What does this have to do with the cigar at hand? Very little; but history is neat.

Finger poke. This is not the powerhouse smoke I expected but it isn't watered-down, necessarily. It's a technician, not a brawler. Lots of Worcestershire sauce and cayenne, but in a somewhat muted manner. Cut by a thin molasses note. Black walnut skins. Pink (Himalayan salt) and Black (Pepper) Bret Hart** runs to the ring. A sleek laminated floor, not earthen. The Excellence of Execution? That's apt here. Oily.

Grows a dense white sheath of ash on a cool and slow, even burn. Moderate or lesser than smoke out-put yields scant savory aromas. Pulls on a smooth draw. Seams do loosen a half-bit. Cap is awkwardly affixed. Veiny. All told, a nice cigar that seems a tick hesitant in approaching the palate. Could use more depth and greater oomph but never does err wildly. Just performs mildly.

*Hogan should have hit a leg drop after this, that too seems apt here.

**The FPOD incident did not involve Bret Hart.

Please note that this whole HH thing is my own headcanon. I'm sure no one at CAO had this in mind. They are no doubt too evolved to sink to my level; no offense to professional wrestling fans.
