NOTES:
Chocolate soda | Coffee | Cedar

Bittersweet w/ a hint of meat. Sinewy. Juicy. Well-structured via seasoned cedar. Nice coffee look, excellent crema, a stovetop espresso say. A chocolate soda replete with creaminess & maraschino cherry topper. Cedar carries a tick of butterscotch. Spices are Midwest kitchen. A nice black pepper kick, softly. Not super complex but well-nuanced.

Undertones are driven by supple leather, a bit wetly-so. Mainly earthen in the midsection. Buckwheat, barnyard. [Chocolate] Babka flits in along the way. Finishes sweet-bitter style on moderate stiff legs. Smells a bit like American scones being served up at a cafe. Balanced nicely & well-rounded sans edges. Weighty but not plodding.

Burns a tick & self-correctingly-so jagged -- no big whoop. Combusts all told well, with nice smoke out-put and excellent languid pacing. Stong oily ash. Packing softens some during progression and not always evenly; nothing egregious nor hampening to draw. Fans of the fuller-side of the Caldwell portfolio should greatly appreciate this offering.

HERE is a great chocolate soda recipe.
