NOTES:
"Five Spice Powder is a blend of cinnamon, cloves, fennel, star anise, and Szechwan peppercorns." - amazingribs.com OK & that's carried from out-front by a peppy pith, orange. Quite bright profile, but not sour or flighty. Balanced & nuanced. Finishes sweetly on lengthy leathery legs.

Undertones are a bracing fresh cedar. Tangy melon-mix. Then an underbelly of sunny earth with slight vanilla bean backing. Body is briskly smooth. Complexities happen at the top and drip down in light 'baccy oils. An invigorating blend.

Burns on an even gate-to-wire line at a pace toward quick of moderate. Ash doesn't build very well. Draws smooth, offering a half-tick more resistance than open. Much of this adds to a lively affair. Excellent smoke out-put builds a... a happy room-note of sour-spiced sweetness.
