JSK Toothpick 2.0 Habano
WRAPPER: Habano
BINDER: Indonesian
FILLER: Undisclosed
(info via JSK website)

FORMAT: Robusto (mixed filler)
ORIGIN: Tabacalera de Aragon S.A, Nicaragua
STRENGTH: Medium

NOTES: Graham cracker pie crust & monkey bread. White peppercorn & finely ground black pepper. Berry sweetened suede & honey malt w floral lilt. Not particularly transitional or complex. Pleasant for the most part and quite smokeable till it bites some in the 3/3.

Incorrigibly curved burn evens by mid 2/3. Continues to need strong pulls. Uneven draw. Sometimes airy. Temp heats up in smoke-hole. Very quick smoke time slows by mid 2/3. Pack softens a full tick but doesn't seem to add woe. Nice 'nuff smoke unfortunately marred by nagging construction issues.

All said, the Toothpick quite serviceably fills the company's bottom shelf, a la the Ventura Slaughterhouse, Illusione Cigars Cuchillos Cubanos ((( link ))), & Tatuaje Series P.
