DAV Cigars Habana Clasico in Churchill - Cigar Review Redux by Kaplowitz

"Why not Kaplowitz?"

DAV Habana Clasico
WRAPPER: Ecuadorian Habana 2000
BINDER: Dominican Olor
FILLER: Dominican

FORMAT: Churchill
ORIGIN: Dominican
STRENGTH: Medium-Full

The Robusto iteration of this blend was my #8 cigar of the year 2017-18. I also re-smoked that 550 on 93. Kaplowitz Radio & it was oh-so good.

Kaplowitz Media Cigar of the Year 2017-18

NOTES: Sweet spices toast warmly with pineapple mango attachments around a buttery cedar core. Leather in the nether overtop white pepper’d yeasty grains. Complex. Transitional. Nuanced. Lengthy smoke-time. Cruise-control burn. Smooth, even draw. Stays cool to its well-formed nub. Muddles waters and chars some in 3/3.

FINAL GRADE: B+
