Dem Bums Drive Dbacks to the DBrink: An NLDS Game 2 Retrospective

The LA Dodgers went up two games to nil over the Arizona Diamondbacks by a score of 8-5. The Dbacks have never come back from a 2-0 brink, and the Dodgers never let anyone do-so. "I have a bad feeling about this." General Custer, at his last stand.
Logan Forsythe got three hits and three runs scored for the Trolley-Dodgers. Chris Taylor, Austin Barnes and Yasiel Puig each drove in two runs to fortify the hurlings a' seven H-wood pitchers off a Rich Hill start. Kenley Jansen then tossed a five-out save. The Dbacks didn't go gently into that good-night. Paul Goldschmidt hit a two-run homer to start strong, Brandon Drury pinch-hit a three-run four-bagger to bring 'm back close. Robbie Ray pitched like he just pitched three days ago... 'cause he did. Ultimately, Arizona was out-gunned by a streaky-for-the-ages squad now hot at the hot time.

Zach Greinke shall take the mound as the series swings to Little Bighorn... Arizona... next.
