The collaboration twixt Oliva and Famous Smoke Shop has been a thing since 2012 when the original blend was birthed. Then came Flashpoint, then did Flashpoint beget 3rd Degree. Just terrible names, gentlepersons. Terrible.
MELT is a box-pressed Nicaraguan puro under Sun Grown Broadleaf. Habano binder, ligero filler. It is purportedly-so and would seem to be, full strength'd. Manufacturer's notes speak of cocoa, leather, earth, and spice. SCORCH is put forth as a 'mellow and complex profile' of medium strength. It features an African Cameroon wrapper o'er Nicaraguan Habano filler. Twixt rests a Habano binder. SINGE is another full-strength'd puro de Nicaragua. Its top-leaf is of the Sun Grown varietal as well, promising to be "loaded with sweet, spicy and nutty flavors," thus according to Gary Korb, Cigar Advisor, Executive Editor.
