Four Cigars Reviewed in 100 Words vol. V

JNV MADURO
A veiny though admirably well-built Lancero. Black pepper and toasted dark grain fore-front; an excelsior'd natured mesquite/coffee bean middling -- over-top a fruity compost under-belly.
FINAL GRADE
****B+****

CALA CIGARS GRAN RESERVA
A Robusto of jenky cosmetics, goodly mechanics, though dampening draw. Bright citrusy sour notes balanced cedar piquancy. A fusty natural tobacco drives as cocoa whispers.

FINAL GRADE
****B+****

FELIX ASSOULINE CSB SALVA VIDA
A passably performing Connecticut-cloaked Torpedo. Buttery cedar white pepper top-notes with salted caramel tobacco middlings on sandy suede under-belly. Intermittently laced with unfortunate green notes.

FINAL GRADE
****B****

FLATBED CIGARS PANACEA BLACK LABEL
A well built and performing Toro with delicate Maduro top-leaf. Medium-full black pepper and Cuban coffee primary notes. Heavily molasses'd kasha middlings over wood-braced compost.

FINAL GRADE
****B+****
