Barthelemy vs Blanco: A Boxing Retrospective

B"H
Leduan Barthelemy (12-0-0, 6KO)
vs
Reynaldo Blanco ((14-3-0, 8KO)
Tuesday March 28th
Nice, California
Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino
Dominican by way of Puerto Rico, Mr. Reynaldo Blanco was fighting here on FS1 on short notice. Too, at a lighter weight class which he had no mere breezy ease in making -- having to drop twelve pounds in five days. Transversely, the six foot Cuban Mr. Leduan Barthelemy was coming up in long and lanky weight to Super Featherweight; with three gears a' jabs and a sneaky uppercut. Barthelemy, one of three pugilism practitioner brothers and patiently pawing southpaw with circus-like feints too aggressively purposeful of movement to bite on in comparison of his flashy yet subtle style.

In the third stanza and in the last third of the fourth off a counter, Blanco took it to his man via successful creation of a brawl. Other times, the tough Blanco looked good whenst the sniper Barthelemy distanced himself too far out, juking fromst too far to see sans scope. Essentially being more than tastefully, a Cuban fighter. Lawdy tho, how I doth love 'em fellas.

The end began whenst Blanco was cut in the eighth after kissing canvas off a left. It was was ruled a non-knock-down by third man in the ring Mr. Edward Colllantes... but still coulda been scored a 10-8 stanza. Weary twixt the eighth and ninth then down in the ninth, after answering the bell against his corner's advice -- a towel is thrown in defense of their pug. I admire that. Hats off too, to the brave Mr. Blanco. TKO 1:30 seconds of round 9. Barthelemy receives kudos here as well, and is knocking on the door of world class. All told, a nice bit of all-roundness in the evening's main event. Even made me mostly forget about my toothache.
