NOTES:
Coffee beans & dark chocolate shavings braced by scorched wine cask. Undertones to those overtones are molasses, spiced black tea, buckwheat & pumpernickel, black walnut and licorice. Later a cedar. Driving it all is a black & red pepper -- sharp and smooth -- like a Katana thru melted butter. Underbelly is thick leather laid out over and sweating its oils into a very dense compost.

Quite complex and perhaps too challenging for a weekend warrior. Deeply, deeply nuanced. There is much transitioning (pleasantly) to the woods & peppers. Too, when the wine pulls out from the cask. Sneaky-stong.

Burns on a decent-straight line sans re-touch. Ash flakes some but makes an inch at a time off an oily core. Draws supremely well. Smoke out-put, particularly active, is notable and offers up a dark fruity spiced woodsy aroma.
