Diesel Uncut - Cigar Review

Diesel Uncut
Robusto 5 1/2 x 50 Closed-foot

  • Brownie (corner piece)
  • Black pepper (amped up through schnoz)
  • Black walnuts
  • Molasses
  • Leathery tobacco
  • Dark grains
  • Cola
  • Purple fruit syrup (fleeting vibe)

Draw is left-side a' medium resistance. Seams seem seemly 'nuff. Veiny to the order of right side a' medium. Toothy. Pack softens many a tick 'gainst lighting; re-firms via progression. Cap area stays softened. Burn line wobbles some, but corrects on its lonesome, and quickly. Pace is quickly, too. Ash builds to a nigh inch of aerated medium-grayness; thunks off warmly onto my lap. I ain't used my schmatta in a bit. Do-so now.

Straight-forward and one-dimensional. Or, hits an enjoyable few top-notes and keeps 'em coming in an attainable manner. Either way, not complex nor transitional... but fairly quick. Quick, or lively. 'Tis all in the mouth of the besmoker. Potato, po-tah-toe. Tomato, toa-ster-oven

Aroma is curiously nice, with an anise lilt not seen on draw. Finishes in a long continuation of primary notes, then sometimes the vague fruity bits, then a tick of kerosene. Then a bit a' palate ouch.

Please to do-so.
In the Three Stooges short, "Sing a Song of Six Pants," we're treated to the boys making a stack of pancakes on some clothing steam press thing. This led to me searching for a pancake recipe. THE pancake recipe. After much experimentation, I settled on it -- then Snack Tray to a pair of scissors to the stick-it note it was scrawled feverishly up-on. I thought it lost for over a year. I sat Shiva for it. Then, I miraculously found it in my Google Drive just the other glorious day. I shall post it below. Yer welcome, gentlepersons.
