Boxing HoF Class of 2017 & Cigar Pairings

B"H
A fairly obvious sorta thing delivered herein.
Thusly sans any further ado, adon't, or amaybe --

CLASS OF 2017 INTERNATIONAL BOXING HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
(& CIGAR PAIRINGS)
Writer, deep at thunk.
EVANDER HOLYFIELD (44-10-2, 29 KO)
The "Real Deal" was perhaps at his realist whenst pugilisming as the greatest Cruiserweight in all of ever. His fisticuffs with Dwight Muhammad Qawi virtually birthed the division. As a heavyweight, he is known as being a relentless and oft under-dog warrior, yes, but is also linked to some "Surreal Deal" happenings. The bite fight with Mike Tyson, the Fan-man with Riddick Bowe. Lettuce not dwell on the steroid allegations beyond saying that he was not a natural Heavyweight, and yet fought some very big men. Very slow lethargic methodical big men. A few folks may not know that Mr. Holyfield fought till nigh his 49th trip 'round our sun. Those people shouldn't look further into it.

I would pair Mr. Evander Holyfield with a Drew Estate Dirty Rat. Small package, bigger and almost curiously so punch. The fact "Dirty" appears is strictly coincidental, gentlepersons.
MARCO ANTONIO BARRERA  (67-7-1, 44 KO)
Mr. Barrera, "The Baby-faced Assassin." One of history's better Lightweight pugilists. Linked through time immemorial with one Erik "El Terrible" Morales and their King of Mexico trilogy -- in which Barrera come out ahead dos-uno, genlepersons. The three weight-class champeeen pummeled Prince Naseem Hamed, then was pummeled by on Mr. Manny Pacquiao. Some days yer the bull, some days the matador. Although the bull don't always lose and I have a funny story 'bout that which I won't hock ya in chinik with now.

I'd pair Mr. Marco Antonio Barrera with a Valentia San Andres. Cloaked in Mexico. Rough yet refined. A cigar I smoked some time ago, and ain't yet forgotten.
JOHNNY TAPIA (59-5-2, 30 KOs)
"Mi Vida Loca" was a wild-man in and out of the ring -- to a tragic end. May his memory be a blessing.

I would recommend pairing the Mr. Johnny Tapia with an Evil Genius White Chapel. A wild ride of a stogie, gentlepersons -- and a quickie one at that.
Also mazel tovs extend to the late Mr. Eddie Booker (selected in the Old-Timer Category) whom fought in the 1930-40s. Non-participants included trainer Johnny Lewis, judge Jerry Roth, ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Sr, and long-time broadcasters Steve Farhood and Barry Tompkins.
