Oily, buttery. Cocoa buttery. A bracing white pepper. Monkey bread. Suede work-boots on a beach? Must be a story there. Cantaloupe, caramel. Coconut--Pina Colada? Rum was the last addition to that storied drink, as it's the last addition here.

Why I can't shake Homer Simpson in a muumuu is entirely on me. "Do you like Pina Colonics, and getting caught in the rain?" Classic TV. Rain is wet, the draw on this one is a bit wet. A crack happens in the top leaf toward the middle when I'm an inch in. Cosmetic only. Needs a relight at the half.

A rich, dense, soft staycay of a smoke with no hiccups as far as the palate is concerned. I miss summer already.

Exotique. Savoir-faire. Je ne said quoi. I believe I'd have made an excellent Frenchman. I just realized that sounds like henchman, a propos of nothing. Back to the topic at hand, the Candela seems to lend substantially more than its slight pin-striping might've (did) lead me to believe.

Vegetal salinity, but a taut then nigh naught flirtation of it. white chocolate hot cocoa powder, white pepper sauteed in butter, and cardamom additions. Crisp and clean, them all. Finishes with a bit of a floral note. Definitely an offering worthy of an occasional revisit. Maybe even reset my palate a hair-tick.

I'd have liked a bit more delineation and a half-bit more oomph. Burned well. Built sans complaint. The draw was a bit sluggish throughout, nothing major. What do they call those little hats that fancy ladies wear? Fascinators? Quite that, really. In a good way. Tre bon!

Burns a bit quick, is the lone knock I got. Maybe I'm just smoking it greedily. Cashew/peanut 50/50 butter. Butter. The remaining italicized pair from above. A hint of salty oak which is felt more than tasted. Tannic, titanic (sans sinking connotation) White grapes. White pepper. Orange zest. This is in my proverbial wheelhouse. A lovely stroll through Flavortown, if that's a coastal town with no shortage of curio shops.
