NOTES:
Fruity chocolatey nose. On the sip is: blackberry, currant. Semi-sweet chocolate, nutty. A pretty balanced split of origin characteristics. Wine cask slurp w/ a slight peach | mango - back | forth. Lacking some in delineation as it all smoothes into a fuzzy fruit-wood finish; winey woody, almost.

Bright, particularly on the corners of the tongue. Nicely balanced. Not terribly nuanced but quite complex. Points toward what I love about blending origins, albeit not directly at it. Still a well above average cup.

FINAL GRADE: B+
