Noses a bit like the ash on a cigar. Smoky on the palate w/ a cocoa & molasses forward march. Undertones are a woody nuttiness. Clings long to the cheeks and tongue via a full-body but never shows more there than a smoky potting soil bittersweet note of some mottling.
Very straightforward and rather simple but deep nuances stave off boredom. If dark boundary-pushing French roasts are your thing, meet your new thing. It very-well might be my new thing as well.
