Jas Sum Kral (JSK) Cigars Kralot | Cigar Review by Kaplowitz

“Have you Kaplowitz’d to-day?”

JSK Kralot
WRAPPER: Mexican San Andres
BINDER: Nicaraguan Ometepe & Somoto
FILLER: Nicaraguan Condega, EstelĂ, Jalapa

FORMAT: 750 "Super Robusto"
ORIGIN: Nicaragua Tabacalera de Aragon S.A.
STRENGTH: Medium

NOTES: Predominately earthen notes, top to bottom. Compost, barnyard. Black pepper. A savory leather, beef jerky. Espresso. Babka. All notes ebb & flow within that earthiness. Smoky, liquidy delivery. Not complex, somewhat nuanced. An attainable and smooth easy smoke.

Burns slow and even & builds solid oily ash. Some slight soft spots along the shaft. Draw is cumbersome and a tick too firm. Very smoky both passively & actively, altho that draw delivers thinly to smoke-hole. Room-note is slighter than expected mainly culminated in a dark sweetness.

FINAL GRADE: B+
A 90-100 B 80-89 C 70-79 D 60-69 F 0-59
