Kaplowitz Media: Odds & Ends at the Ides (Oct.)

"Have you Kaplowitz'd to-day?"

Odds & Ends at the Ides. Think of it as a State of the Blog | Podcast Address. I sometimes do. I also think of it as a great way to stay aboob of blog and podcast happenings.

From Wikipedia: "Ides (calendar), a day in the Roman calendar that marked the approximate middle of the month. For March, May, July, and October it is the 15th day of the month. For other Roman calendar months it is on the 13th."
Gentlepersons,

Them's above are the bullet-points. Lettuce now delve -- but first -- thanks for coming out to this, my State of the Kaplowitz.xyz Address.

Via the K/M FB page I said:
"Here's something to look forward to at www.Kaplowitz.xyz ...

A very special #podcast series with myself of #KM & Felix of Felix Assouline Cigars which will take you step-by-step through the cigar-making process.

Kaplowitz Media Presents: From Seed to Cigar.

Look for Episode One next week, wherein we'll take it back even a step further and discuss growing regions.

Do NOT miss this series, Gentlepersons."

I can now tell you that the inaugural ep will drop here at the .xyz on Wed. Oct. 24 12:01am Pacific time. Wowie-wow-wow.

What is ASMR? Take it away, Wikipedia!: "Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson."

Huh?

"The benefits of ASMR: Internet videos of individuals purposely simulating real-life ASMR triggers have grown widely popular in the last few years. Viewers find many of these videos as relaxing as real-life ASMR triggers and quite helpful for falling asleep, de-stressing, and providing comfort during a sad time. Some individuals with clinical diagnoses of medical disorders report that these videos are helpful to their insomnia, anxiety, panic disorders and/or depression. The evidence for the potential benefit of ASMR for stress disorders, sleep disorders, mood disorders and more is slowly growing. Unfortunately, there is still a lot to learn about the physiology of ASMR and the true effectiveness of ASMR for medical disorders. That is why the mission of this website is to promote the awareness, understanding, and research of ASMR." - www.ASMRuniversity.com

Right.

So a lot of feedback is sent my way re: the tone and pace of my voice. People tend to apologetically state that it helps them unwind, even sleep. This is accidental on my part (mostly) but not at all unwelcome. Look... cigars are about luxuriating. You can't luxuriate when yer sphincter is puckered tighter than a witch's cunt. Go ahead. Chillax. Sleep, even. Your plays, ultimately, count as well as awake ones tbh & anyways.

Finally & w/ again thanks of the B I G varietal to my new sponsors named up-top, ENTER TO WIN THE CONTEST FOR FREE CIGARS AND HAT (link).

thx

Till the Ides next,

Kap
