Damn Yankees One-up Windians: An ALDS Game 3 Retrospective

The Damn Yankees shall now live to fight another day -- although rain is in the forecast for the next day. Ne'ertheless, the 1-0 win staves off elimination in the best-of-five series for the now and by the Tribe. A damp future is, after-all, preferable to none.
Masahiro Tanaka, whenst asked to deliver in the biggest way yet, on the biggest stage of his career -- doth did delivered. He was again the ace he once was. Ace 'nuff to get the win for the Bronx, bomberless. Other than Greg Bird's solo blast, that is. The hero in glove'd form was quite surprisingly one Aaron "Dave Kingman" Judge whom took a Francisco Lindor two-run homer back.

All this before a raucous crowd of 48,614 at Yankee Stadium offering many a pre-game 'Bronx cheer' to skipper Joe Girardi re: his oopsy -- whom's most likely be-loved all over again. Something like a dozen games in, we get our first pitchers duel, I'm glad for that, gentlepersons.
