BoSox Blast Astros: An ALDS Game 3 Retrospective

The Boston Red Sox fended off being swept to the golf course to-day with a 10-3 bats-alive victory o'er the Houston Astros. Hanley Ramirez, in for wounded Eduardo Nunez, was good for four-hits and three ribbies. Jackie Bradley Jr. and Rafael Devers combined for two dingers and six RBI. Rally ball!!! Actually, every Bostonian representative tallied a hit, 'cept Xander Bogaerts. Sorry, Xander.
From the mound, Doug Fister floundered, lasting just-about long 'nuff to see each opposing batter once. David Price, made his second relief appearance of the series -- in an absolute gem. He came on in the fourth stanza and went on to silence the 'Stros bats for the next four frames of play. He allowed a hit per inning and a single walk, whilst fanning four.

At first, all looked according to the previous two games, Houston wins, as they jumped out to a three-run lead off the top of their order -- punctuated by a two-run shot by Carlos Correa.
