Cornelius & Anthony Announces Lonsdale Cornelius - Cigar News

Cornelius & Anthony Premium Cigars hath announced the up-coming extension release of their 2016 debuting Cornelius label in a new Lonsdale 6 12 x 42 format at the 2017 IPCPR trade show. This'll join the other sizes of: Toro 650, Robusto 550, Corona Gorda 5 1/2 x 46. All are produced at El Titan de Bronze factory in Little Havana in the good ole USofA.

The Cornelius & Anthony Cornelius line, according to the their site, "... is our premiere release and is a tribute to Cornelius Bailey, Steven Bailey’s great-great-grandfather. Cornelius was the first of 5 generations of the Bailey family to run the family’s tobacco company. Each box displays an illustration of Cornelius Bailey on the lid."

The blend's specifications consist of an Ecuadorian top-leaf and binder atop Nicaraguan and Dominican guts. This apparently culminates in manufacturer notes of "layered complexity with notes of both sweetness and spice. This medium-bodied cigar has a refined balance that culminates with a buttery smooth finish." Smooth Finish, incidentally, was the name I performed under as a Hip-Hop artist in the late 1990s.
