Derevyanchenko Slices/Dices in TKO Over Russell

B"H
March 14th -- Fitz Tunica Casino and Hotel, Tunica MS -- Boobtube via FS1
Two up-and-coming undefeated Middleweight division pugilists in Mr. Sergiy Derevyanchenko now 10-0-0-8 and Mr. Kemahl Russell now 10-1-0-8 fisticuff'd it out with goose eggs in loss columns at stake. Thanks to  the title of this post and and its statistical lead-in, gentlepersons, there is no doubt that what will next occur is a vague blow-by-blow of Derevyanchenko's impressive victory. Wherein the Brooklynite of some three years time doth show his nom de ring "The Technician," to be well deserved.

The opening stanza was very much a feeling out introductory thing twixt the former Ukranian national squad teammate of on Mr. Vasyl Lomanchenko and Kemahl Russell. Russell looked the superior athlete and many of Derevyanchenko's many feints began to garner an air of more-so hiccups or yips if ya golf. This due to their inability to lead to any meaningful follow-up. This due to the lankiness of Russell and his substantial height and reach advantages. The second round saw a crisp jab introduced by Derevyanchenko. This caused Russell to quickly fall outta range with his own punches. By round's end, the jab leads to swarm off an excellent display of footwork. Momentum swing, gentlepersons. Writ about as large as you'll see sans one man being properly rocked. In retrospect: game, set, match: Derevyanchenko.

Russell started the third by fighting off his back foot some. He doth did squeeze off a couple/few sets of combos mainly to the Ukranian's gloves. That's answered by solid hooks to the body; pennies in the jar. Pre-1982 pennies. The copper ones of some actual worthiness. The fourth's onset sees Russell land the best punch of his night. A nice right which Derevyanchenko followed with one of his own, and post haste. Then with a heavy hook for good measure. Lively round. Another right then left by Derevyanchenko employed and applied with an admirable accuracy. Starts rocking Russel with thems hooks to the challah-basket. Russell's punches loose their snap and he gets warned by the third gentleperson in the ring, Mr. Bill Clancy, for low blows. Big round for the Russian. I prefer to call Ukrainians Russians. Helps build emotion. As do short sentences. Twixt rounds we learn the cut over Russell's eye is deemed to hath occurred via punch.

Fifth: the Russian maintains a deadly precision more so than power, per se. A line drive bat-on-the-ball hitter as opposed to a swinging for the fences fella. Batters Russell into a corner in the wake of a stiff right built upon by them heavy challah-basket hooks and keeps him there -- until Clancy steps in I'd say 15 seconds too late. Mr. Ray Flores announces the stoppage as coming 1:06 into the fifth.

Mr. Sergiy Derevyanchenko is securely in contendership to be a contender.
