Construction.

Toothy and well-crafted all 'round. Tight nigh invisible seams. Perfectly crafted cap. Smooth rather open draw of a -medium tension. No soft/hard spots, but from gate-to-wire, there is a noteworthy softening of pack -- though seams and draw each hold fast.

Combustion.

Starts a bit meshuga with a wide runner sprinting out ahead by 3/4" of light. Immediate retouch and rest. A second re-touch corrects the remainder and we are nigh even -- but a runner and two retouches have us flying through Act I. Ash is a pale grey flaky sheath with toothy wrapper turned silver-fleck'd burnt offerings. Smoky as all get-out off each end. Suddenly, another thinner runner develops. I repeat the previously-mentioned process. A note, gentlepersons: place the lagging top-leaf downward in yer tray. Second runner actually side-steps the need for a second re-touch. Officially, there is a runner in all three acts, but lesser in each instance -- the final one catching up to itself sans re-touch. Oy gevalt. Pace slows in the final act and nub re-fimrs, delivers cool smoke down to and beyond the tooth-picking.

Flavors.
k a p l o W i t z
Red then black pepper up-front with a sweet spice shot-gun with cinnamon lead. Middlings are a forward JSK-familiar candied cherry and toasted cream atop syrupy espresso. Barnyard compost under-belly with a molasses sweetness. Some sarsaparilla liltings. Notes which flit about are a sweetened almond paste, some hickory and mesquite woods, and an eventual cedar. Vanilla. Tropical floral bits. Some darker citrus, particularly on the -long legged sweetbitter finish. Tobacco presents with a quite lovely aromatic pipe tendency, which is much of the plentiful room-note. After the mid-point, flavors pull back to allow a smoky note the wheel and the steer. This becomes a slightly sharp charring in the third act. Some beef jerky lip-smackin' umami is underneath the smokiness.

Body.
k a p l O w i t z
Robust yet a tick shy of round. Cream bears the weight and as it toasts, its remnants somewhat thin on the palate. Pleasant cinnamon tingle on the tongue and cheeks. Finish (sweetbitter with a high-lighted espresso) ends quite cleanly and almost in a refreshing dark citrus manner.

Strength.
k a p l o W i t z
Sturdy sinewy piano wire back-bone garrote throughout. A bit of a nicotine spike in the final act, not unsettling humsoever.
EDITOR'S NOTE
While posted on the Sabbath, this is an automatically generated thing, gentlepersons. These are not written during the Sabbath, but typically on a Friday noon-ish. Shabbot shalom and Gut Shabbos -- and to the goyim: hey, have a heckuva Saturday!

Further editorial drivel: I am posting this 18 Sabbaths installment sooner than normal, as ice storms threaten my internet abilities.
