Whatta I mean?

I mean Timothy Bradley is a gift to Manny Pacquiao that has kept on giving since their initial June 9th, 2012 fisticuffs. You see, Bradley is a glove'd smokescreen which covers from view the fact that Pac-man 's schedule over the last few years has been quite light, indeed. We're talking a softer schedule than the abundantly apparent alternating on/off fights. Yet it's Mayweather who has/d ducking allegations* lobbed his way. I submit for yer perusal the following:
Working backwards from Marquez III in 2011; a thin unanimous-decision win that many feel Manny didn't deserve. Enter next Mr. Bradley, whom if ya recall, entered as a 7-2 underdog in the Vegas line. In other words, he was not supposed to eke out that split-decision win -- he was, in fact, a scheduled off-fight. Holding the pattern, next up is and on-fight in the form of Marquez IV (Loss via 6th knock-out). Then Pac-man takes on the hopelessly over-his-head Brandon Rios in an off-fight unanimous-decision win that surprises no one. Next up is Bradley II in an on-fight in name only and an easy 'nuff unanimous decision. Algieri is next -- the underwear model fella -- off fight; ridiculously easy unanimous-decision. Now and finally (until manana), onto his Floyd "Money" Mayweather loss via unanimous decision --on-fight, 'natch. Next, this tomorrow I have made Spanish mention of: off-fight with Bradley 3... And a cha-ching filled one at that.

Timothy Bradley A Manny Pacquiao career extender and retirement purse stuffer with street cred via a quite questionable decision. I feel that a good and fair enough summation of scenario.

Remember: this all began in 2011. Around the time steroid allegations began to surround Manny and his Barry Bonds-esque growing head. Notice: No KO victories for Manny during the aforementioned stretch. Prior to this all, he'd acquired 38 of his 50 wins via Knock-outs. In fact, his seven previous bout span featured a tally of three early stoppage victories. It's well known to boot, that power is the last skill to leave a pugilist. Pretty darn indicting, no? Yes.

Do I need to spell out my pick for tomorrow of Mr. Pacquiao in 12(UD)? I did, right there, just in case. Pac will look bad in spots, but no way he loses via judges in what might be his curtain call -- and no way Bradley ends the evening early. Less than no way either man's corner throws in the white schmatta.
Mayweather's last seven matches (for sheer feces and facial gestures):

  • Berto
  • Pacquiao
  • Maidana
  • Maidana
  • Alvarez
  • Guerrero
  • Cotto

To me, Floyd looks like a real mensch. A near completely unpalatable mensch. Now if you'll be so kind, a Golden Girls re-run just came on. Thanks as always and ever, for reading.
